My inspiration in business comes from a vision of living in a society where there is a true sense of peace, collaboration and equity. Institutions and communities thrive when everyone is respected, valued, and set up for success in life. Our unique social identities and experiences shape our individual ingenuity which should be valued and leveraged to reach our greatest collective potential. When we design environments that depend on diversity, the social issues we face begin to dissolve.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the incredible people whose lives are uplifted by my work. The results of impact work aren’t always immediate or visible, but when I see a professional thriving in their role, an individual overcoming adversity, or a team amplifying their social impact, it reignites my passion and purpose. Witnessing these transformations reaffirms why I do what I do. My ultimate motivation is leaving the world a better place than I found it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25k, I’d supercharge my solo practice into a collaborative business. That starts with reimaging the brand, getting new marketing assets and enhancing marketing efforts. I’d focus on developing capacity-building tools, products and services tailored specifically for small to mid-size teams that effectively overcome their time and budget barriers. This boost would transform not just my business, but the impact I can create with others —one empowered team at a time.
