Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

In business my inspiration is the people that I have the privilege of serving. Through The Clayton Law Firm, I have the privilege of supporting individuals during the most intimate moments of their lives. As the owner of Lockbrush, I am proud to address a critical need within the loc community. Lastly, I am driven by the opportunity to be a role model for my children, nieces, nephews, and other black and brown people who may come from humble beginnings but have big dreams.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation is a journey that unfolds one step at a time, and every step, no matter how big or small, deserves to be celebrated. My passion lies in serving and helping others, and staying connected to this purpose keeps me inspired and driven.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’m considering two options for the $25,000: (1) repaying the loan used to launch MarQ Hairapy - Lockbrush, or (2) investing it in developing the next product for the MarQ Hairapy brand.
