Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Well an unfortunate death occurred that changed my entire mind set on keeping people safe. My son’s friend Lincoln was killed by a tree that fell on him and another boy while camping on a youth group camping trip. Being an Arborist and thinking of what could have been avoided in this unfortunate circumstance, my wheels started spinning. I started developing an application for phones to be able to snap a picture of a tree and attach it to a live map and get real time feedback from an Arbor

How do you stay motivated?

My passion to keep people safe motivates me. Being a Utility Arborist for a major power company I take my job very serious. On a daily basis I contribute to public safety, preventing wildfires and providing safe reliable electricity. The app. I’m developing could help save hundreds if not thousands of lives. On average 100 people a year die from tree related injuries. I want to use my knowledge and experience to help save lives or provide helpful information and advice about Arboricultur

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would continue and possibly finish creating my App. and bring it public. I would love to introduce this to the world and start making an impact.
