My inspiration comes from both passion and pain. As a teacher and mom of two, including a premie, I was heartbroken by a system that stifled creativity and individuality. I dreamed of a space where individuality isn’t seen as a challenge but embraced as a gift—a hands-on, fun, student-centered environment. This journey, as an educator and parent, inspired me to create a school that celebrates uniqueness, fosters innovation, and nurtures every child.
How do you stay motivated?The children and their families keep me motivated. Seeing kids who once dreaded school thrive, become leaders, and fall in love with learning fuels my passion. Building relationships, teaching freely, blending global best practices, and using innovative approaches inspire me. Every lightbulb moment reminds me of my mission to transform education and create a world where every child shines—a purpose I’ve held since childhood and won’t stop pursuing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’ve transformed my basement into a magical space where children thrive through individualized, innovative education. With $25,000, I’d expand into a larger facility to reach more children, invest in cutting-edge materials to foster creativity, and create a space that inspires both students and educators. This investment would lay the foundation for transforming education, sparking meaningful change, and helping more children discover their unique strengths and a love for learning.
