What is the Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy two dogs, Cookie Dough and Scout, and my wife, Brittany Sierra, inspired me to start this business. I told her about a few ideas I had for working in the sustainability space and my love for animals. At first, I planned to focus only on upcycling pet products, but she suggested I also work with secondhand items. Thus, Secondhand Pet Supply (SPS) was born.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by all the support we've received from one of the most incredible communities around. We are a diverse group of people who come together for the sake of our pets!
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000, I would focus on building out our upcycling program by purchasing the machines needed to continue working with companies like Ridwell and the Oregon Convention Center to create toys for our closed-loop system to continue to prevent as much waste as possible!
