Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The strength of my mom and my Portuguese roots are my business inspiration. I faced a life-altering event at the age of 10, when I lost my father to a 3 month battle of brain cancer. My mom took on both parental roles, teaching my sister and I, the values of independence, courage, and confidence - no matter what my day brings. These qualities became the foundation of my mission when creating my business, to inspire women to feel that same strength, courage, and confidence in their everyday life.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my passion and dedication to making my business successful is seeing how confident and empowered women feel when wearing our clothes. Working in fashion, I've seen firsthand how the fashion industry negatively impacted our environment. I want to part of that change and be a voice to promote sustainability. Also, having the opportunity to be the one to provide for my family continues to motivate me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to give back by joining 1% For The Planet, ensuring a positive impact on the environment. I would also allocate funds towards marketing efforts within affiliate emails and PR opportunities, to increase brand awareness, grow our customer base, and boost sales. This would allow us to continue expanding our reach and promote our brand to women who are looking for clothing that makes them feel confident and beautiful.
