Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration comes from my parents and children, who have shaped my journey and values. Overcoming the challenges of being a teen mother. I was determined to break barriers and defy statistics I built a 25+ year career with the Gov while raising three accomplished children. Upon, retiring I transitioned to entrepreneurship, focusing on empowering underserved communities through safe housing, financial education, and resources that foster stability, opportunity, and long-term success.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by reflecting on my journey and the values instilled by my parents and children. Overcoming challenges as a teen mother taught me resilience and purpose. As an entrepreneur, I am driven by empowering underserved communities through housing, financial education, and resources. Staying connected with community partners, setting clear goals, and celebrating successes inspires me to grow the business, knowing my work creates lasting impact and opportunities for others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 will be allocated toward property acquisition, renovation costs, marketing and outreach, rental assistance, and financial literacy programs. This funding will expand housing options, improve living conditions, and provide essential services to families and veterans. It will also enhance awareness of our offerings, allowing us to maximize our mission’s impact in underserved communities and create sustainable opportunities for stability and growth.
