Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I began my journey in the beauty industry, inspired by a vision to create a welcoming space where individuals could not only receive high-quality services but also feel valued and empowered. My love for all things beauty and with over a decade of hands on experience, I have the skills and knowledge necessary to lead a successful team and foster an environment of creativity and professionalism that adds impact to my community.

How do you stay motivated?

I am motivated and very passionate about fostering an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. I believe that beauty comes in all forms, and it is essential to celebrate diversity in our community. I understand the importance of giving back and supporting those around me. I actively engage in community initiatives, My goal is to ensure that Mo Beauty Experience, remains a pillar of support, empowerment, and beauty for all residents of Chicago’s South Side.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Receiving this grant would allow me to expand our services and enhance our facilities, making it possible for us to reach more individuals and provide them with the support they need. I envision creating new programs that focus on holistic wellness, offering educational workshops on beauty and self-care, and partnering with local organizations to create a stronger, healthier community.
