Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Joe Fennel is a successful restaurateur in Fayetteville, AR. Like me, he comes from humble beginnings and worked hard for a long time to create successful businesses that provided great value to his community. How do you stay motivated?

I am from a place where the roads aren’t paved and there isn’t much electricity or running water. I am the first person in my family who had the opportunity to be educated beyond the 8th grade. And yet, I was somehow blessed to come to the US, earn my undergraduate degree, and embark on a rewarding career doing the job I’ve dreamed about since I was a little kid. What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I could create a computer hub and training center in my home village in which in-demand tech skills could be cultivated by unbelievably talented but chronically underdeveloped human capital in my community. A venue for people to learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, DevOps, or develop proficiency in programming languages could transform my community.
