Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Coffee and Trucking. Over 5 years, I've put in the work to know all aspects of the coffee supply chain, yet never saw any female truckers picking up the product. I chose to dive into the trucking industry to face a new challenge. Working Over-The-Road brought attention to the low-quality coffee that truckers drink in their well-deserved breaks. My purpose: To honor the work of those who produce coffee and the work of those who move the world: coffee farmers and truck drivers.

How do you stay motivated?

I lost motivation after my injury, and while being and feeling at my lowest point in life, I wrote on my whiteboard "never give up on your dreams". Reading that everyday didn't motivate me but gave me discipline I needed. Motivation comes and goes, but when you CHOOSE discipline, things will get done because you want to bring your vision to life. Coming from Puerto Rico and leaving the Island to come here seeking for opportunities makes me want to make my own people proud and inspired.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d first pay off my medical bills, which are currently holding me back from investing in my coffee roasting business.I’d reinvest the funds into expanding my operations: purchasing more coffee beans, custom-printed bags and boxes, and branded swag. I'd also buy or rent another roaster to boost capacity, invest in an espresso machine and grinder, and build a coffee cart for events. I’d cover the necessary permits to become a vendor, enhance my website and social media presence.
