Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by kids from small towns and tough upbringings who feel success is out of reach. As a Black woman from a town of 6,717, the first in my family to graduate college, own a home, invest in real estate, and build an IT consulting firm from $100K in year one to $2.2M in year six, I’m proof that hard work changes everything. How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering where I came from and the challenges I’ve overcome. My drive comes from a deep desire to break cycles, defy the odds, and create a better future for my family. I hustle every day to show my kids and those watching that success is built through hard work, resilience, and relentless growth—proving that where you start doesn’t define how far you can go.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d jumpstart my next venture—launching a laundromat in a large commercial space I own, a project estimated at $100-$150K. This funding would help prepare the laundry portion, bringing me closer to owning my 3rd business in 2025 while positioning for future acquisitions. I believe in building wealth through diversification, and this step moves me forward in creating lasting financial impact for my family and community.
