Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration in business is my father, James Chapman. My father was a painter with a vast network and taught me the power of having someone’s contact information—"cherish it, protect it, and use it." he would say. That wisdom has stayed with me throughout my life journey. From my teens, I began gathering information and saving contacts in spreadsheets OF EVERYONE, not knowing that one day I would build a media company.

How do you stay motivated?

It is not always easy, but I stay motivated by having periods of solitude and keeping my vision front and center. When I need to recalibrate every few weeks, I quiet my mind, take a break from social media, meditate, and be with myself, my thoughts, and my purpose. In addition, my parents keep me sane. They are my biggest cheerleaders and are always there to help motivate me on days when I feel like giving up.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With our app launch around the corner, the $25k would be first allocated toward marketing to grow our waitlist. Increasing awareness and anticipation is key to ensuring a successful launch. Additionally, I would invest in PR for myself. I need to share my story because people connect with stories, and when they believe in the story, they believe in the brand. Lastly, I would invest funds to continue our journey of protecting our intellectual property.
