Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from companies like JMckee & Co., a female-owned and led PR firm that exemplifies leadership and creativity. I’m also inspired by the legacy of Johnson Publishing Company, founded by John Johnson. He became a pioneer in representing Black voices through iconic publications like Ebony and Jet. These magazines reshaped the media landscape and provided a platform for Black culture, accomplishments, and stories.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by looking at those around me in my field who seem to be climbing and also immersing myself in the education aspect of what I want from life. Keeping God first and staying connected to his purpose and the impact I want to make keeps me motivated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If given $25,000, I would prioritize finding an office space to operate out of and meet clients. Having a space would grow my business’s credibility, improve client relationships, and provide a productive environment for my team. I’d also allocate some of the funds to invest in resources that streamline my marketing operations, such as upgraded technology and a small team to support clientele growth.
