Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Growing up, I was inspired by my mom, who has owned a hair salon since 2000. Her entrepreneurial spirit showed me that I could create my own future and not have to rely on working for someone else. I hated the idea of my livelihood being controlled by an employer who could fire me for something as simple as needing an emergency day. This fueled my passion for entrepreneurship and the desire to be my own boss. While working at UPS in high school, I took the leap and started my first business.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my desire to provide a better life for my daughter, son, and family who depend on me. Knowing they look up to me pushes me to work harder and stay focused on my goals. I’m driven by the vision of creating generational wealth and ensuring they have opportunities I didn’t. Beyond that, I love traveling, driving exotic cars, and enjoying a luxury lifestyle—reminders of what’s possible through hard work and dedication. I can’t afford to let them down

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest in expanding my cleaning company or use it to cover startup costs for one of my other business ventures. My goal is to put my family in a better position by creating more opportunities for passive income and long-term financial stability.
