Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is my coach and mentor Terrica Lynn Smith. She's a real estate investor and developer with over 1,000 doors. Seeing another black woman navigate this male dominated space with all the knowledge, grit and grace that she does continues to not only inspire me but motivate me to do more and dream bigger. She has made real estate investing more tangible for me as I continue on my journey to building my own real estate empire.

How do you stay motivated?

I remain a student and continue to learn and be surrounded with like minded people. I am intentional about putting myself in the spaces with people I can learn from. I read books, listen to and watch podcasts, attend classes and meetups surrounding business and real estate investing. I have an understanding that you get what you focus on so focusing on what I want is constant motivation for me. I deserve the life I imagine and I am doing what I need to in order to turn that vision into reality.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 back into my business. Real estate investing requires a lot of capital in which I have used quite a bit of my own over this past year so it would allow me a means to continue building my business, acquire more property or take care of the renovation costs on one of my upcoming projects.
