Register for FreeFor 20 years, Brad and I have had the intention of creating meaningful connection around our table. We want people to feel loved and seen as we serve them a generous meal. More recently, we have wanted to insert ourselves into the plague of mental illness in our community. We offer cooking classes as a way to build confidence through learning the skill of cooking and hospitality. Underneath the skill of cooking, we offer a space where kids feel wanted and important.
How do you stay motivated?Connecting with our intention to inserting ourselves into solving the issues of loneliness and mental health in the world keeps us motivated when we feel exhausted by dinners or cooking classes.
What would you do with the $25,000?Our first project would be to create and publish our first cookbook. We would use the rest to move into a space that would allow us to take our cooking classes out of our home.
