Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Women and people of color face unique workplace challenges rooted in systemic biases, impacting their career growth, engagement, and job satisfaction. As a first-gen college graduate turned first-gen professional, I experienced many of these obstacles. I had to learn the hard way that receiving expert guidance could have saved me a lot disappointment. That’s why I’m passionate about empowering marginalized groups to overcome these barriers and achieve their career dreams.

How do you stay motivated?

Simply said, my children are my biggest motivation. I desire to create such an impact on this world, that it causes a large enough ripple effect that it turns into a wave of change. The result, I hope, is that when my children are of age to enter the workforce, they experience a different work environment. One where people are treated with respect, given fair opportunities to grow and thrive, and are able to create a living for themselves and their families without having to 'sell their souls'.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Professional Development ($4K): Gain certifications and attend conferences for networking. Digital Products ($4K): Create courses, webinars, and a subscription community. Community Building ($3K): Host free workshops to share knowledge. Tools ($2K): Invest in CRM and analytics software. Operational Expenses ($2K): Cover business costs and pay for time.
