Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Fly fishing taught me that everything in nature is interconnected. Just as a mayfly, a sipping trout, and a river ecosystem are connected, so are our businesses and the planet. My love for fly fishing and nature is what inspired me to pursue a career in sustainability, and I have a vision of nature and businesses thriving together.

How do you stay motivated?

My wife, two daughters, and my love for nature motivate me to help businesses improve the sustainability performance of their operations, products, & packaging, while ensuring that their employees & people in their supply chain are treated equitably & fairly. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would create a world-class online sustainability education & training platform. My goal would be to simplify sustainability for any business, & train as many companies as possible on the business case for sustainability so that every business is measuring & improving its sustainability performance, all while boosting profits. If every company understood its social & environmental impact, we could transform our economy...for good because doing good is GOOD for business.
