Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Both my dad, and father-in-law have been inspirations to me. They both had/have their own businesses as well, and I got to be around two of the hardest working men I’ve ever known. They also both have hearts of gold, and understand the importance of treating people with respect. Also, both of my late parents were deeply dedicated to, and believed in recycling to help achieve a smaller carbon footprint. I have always kept their passion in mind, when considering my business practices.

How do you stay motivated?

I have three boys, and I hope to be their inspiration and compass of good habits and morals, in life and at work. I also love doing what I do! Once capable, I plan to start a non-profit for my middle son, Lincoln, who has a genetic developmental disability. He loves to decorate for holidays and special occasions, so it would be a party and event decoration business.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My business goes through around 500 barrels per year, and stores about 200-300 wine and whiskey barrels at any given time. I need to make an additional storage area for these, to keep my workspace optimal and efficient. Then I would reinvest the money into a laser engraver for my business, to open up a lot of potential extra product personalization.
