What is the Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy children are my inspiration. My son was in and out of prison as he struggled with my separation and divorce due to domestic violence. I was determined this was the last time he go back and forth so I had an idea for a commercial cleaning business hoping to inspire him to ownership. I learned through sharing my idea he had the same or similar goals for a cleaning business but his would focus on floor care based on his previous training. When he came home he attended a training with me.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by the fact that people need employment opportunities and I am in the position to provide those opportunities to build skills, character , team work and influence goal setting for others as I invest in their lives..
What would you do with the $25,000?I would increase my hourly rate for my present employees. I would invest in establishing a non-profit organization that celebrate and support men in particular. My company has invested in celebrating men for the past five years on the Saturday of fathers day weekend. To enhance the awareness of our males contribution and to strengthen the bond between men in our communities, hoping to influence families to become stronger units inspire of grief and loss. Other partners contributed to the events.
