Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My daughter inspires me to create a legacy through my businesses. My mother also motivated me to prove that entrepreneurial goals can be reached, and that success doesn’t require a corporate job. I’m driven by how home fragrance and perfumes can shift energy, fostering self love and confidence. I want to show others they can create luxury goods for themselves or loved ones, demonstrating how art and science can be both fun and accessible in everyday life.

How do you stay motivated?

My faith in God keeps me motivated daily. Mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs in the home & beauty lifestyle industry is also inspiring , as I guide them toward building their futures. Teaching perfume and candle classes, where I share years of self-taught knowledge in just an hour, reminds me how far I’ve come. Staying informed and always learning about my industry keeps me driven to achieve more.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will use the $25,000 to create scholarships for minority women pursuing careers in cosmetic science and fragrance. Having entered this field without specialized training or resources, I understand the need for opportunities. This initiative would empower talented women, foster meaningful connections, and potentially lead to future collaborations with my company, where their fresh ideas and perspectives could thrive.
