Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

In 2011 my freshman year at Spelman College, I was scammed—giving out my social security number. After my mom’s frustrated response, I vowed to never be played again. By 2012, I launched my campus’s first financial literacy club, teaching credit, budgeting, and investing. Now, with a decade of experience building an asset portfolio of properties and investments, I’m an advocate for financial freedom. This journey inspired me to create NET WORTH UP™ financial literac

How do you stay motivated?

It hasn't been easy. There have been sleepless nights figuring out how to market and fundraise effectively, but playing this game with strangers and grass roots marketing, is exhilarating! Kids as young as eight years old pick up on the game quickly, and the positive feedback fuels me. I believe this game can spark a financial revolution, making literacy engaging and accessible.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000 this will allow me to replenish inventory and develop a new game called Hot Wallet (intro to crypto). I am also able to create my podcast and Twitch set to expand my social presence, and enter 3-4 trade shows to further support marketing. Lastly, these funds will allow me to travel in order to strategically network at conferences and pitch competitions nationwide to land partnerships with podcasters, UCG content creators, and the likes within the personal finance community.
