Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My family for many generations has gave to many. I’ve watched doors open for those who need it, children being raised who needed a home and being taught to love everyone. Growing up I wanted to do the same I loved helping take care of the children and teaching them. I started working in childcare and was inspired by the positive and sometimes the negatives I would see and wanted to be the change and start my own, walking in faith.

How do you stay motivated?

Watching the children grow, learning, and their happiness motivates me. Everyday new words, new experiences, their laughter makes my heart come alive. I’m always looking for more ways providing them with the best care allowing their imagination come to life. I want to fulfill the love and security they need when home is hours away as their parents work. Everyday I come to them with new ideas for to comfort them, help them learn, and to love.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 dollars I’ll invest not only into my daycare but into my family buisness of non-profit organizers, bakers, racing and mechanics. We all pour into each other to be what we call “pillars” in our community. Bringing to Flint a vivid sense of expansion, love, family, and compassion. Our work is a ministry and will soon be worldwide it all starts with our story and strong foundation of God’s work in us!
