Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is my family. My husband is probably the best sales person/consultant I know. Seeing his drive and care for his clients motivates me to do the same and that it is achievable if you are committed. Alternately, watching my kids start sports and dance and even school from 0 and evolving into who they are today and everything they accomplished is a reminder that all it takes is belief in yourself, even after you fail, and that the more you try the better your chances.

How do you stay motivated?

I realize that I have an opportunity in front of me that others would dream about. I remind myself that I am living something that I always wished for and if I don’t maximize the opportunity for success and a life changing success story (more so personally than financially), then I am wasting my time, talents, and dreams. I also love showing my kids that there is no ceiling and we are in control of our future.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put most of it towards marketing my company which right now is my biggest challenge and the biggest unknown. As a new business owner I learned how to maximize each dollar and spend wisely. Marketing our brand so that more people can learn about Mix Me will tremendously help our growth. I know once people try Mix Me, they won’t want any other mixer.
