Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mom is my greatest inspiration. She's endured unimaginable challenges, including losing her mom at age 5, surviving the secret war, and navigating the Laos jungle while pregnant. Despite her struggles, she leads her life with kindness, resilience, and a giving heart, teaching me to do the same. Her strength reminds me to face obstacles with courage and make every moment count. I want her sacrifices to mean something; her teachings are my daily foundation for living and leading.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by practicing gratitude daily and embracing the 1% mindset. As a mom and business owner, I know I can’t give 100% every day - even 20% is tough sometimes. So, I focus on small, intentional actions. Using my planner, I prioritize business, health, and relationships, identifying just 1% I can do in each area. These small steps keep me moving closer to my goals, proving that progress,  not perfection, is what truly matters. 

What would you do with the $25,000?

We’ve identified our ideal customers for both online and in-store. I’d invest in targeted ads to connect with locals and online buyers, boost brand visibility, expand wholesale partnerships, enhance user experience and SEO, and work with a coach to sharpen our business strategy for long-term growth.
