Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my grandmother, a diabetic with limited mobility, who struggled to access affordable, quality foot care. Her experience showed me the critical need for accessible services. While I currently focus on pedicures and foot care education, my goal is to expand into providing care for elderly diabetics and those with chronic conditions, helping them maintain health and confidence.

How do you stay motivated?

I’m motivated by the impact I make on my clients through education and care. For example, a client recently avoided recurring ingrown toenails by following simple tips I shared during her pedicure. Seeing my clients grow in confidence and health inspires me to continue expanding my services. While earning certifications to reach elderly diabetics, I remain passionate about improving foot health for all.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The grant will fund certifications in medical foot care, DIY Pedicure Kits for at-home maintenance, and a painless ingrown toenail treatment service. It will also support education and outreach to empower clients with foot health knowledge. These investments will help me expand services to underserved communities, especially diabetics, and build toward my long-term goal of starting a nonprofit.
