Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I recently met Trisha Bailey a self mad multi-millionaire, and she inspired me to expand the horizons of my business.

How do you stay motivated?

As a mom of three young children, I realized that the education system was not designed to enrich minority students; but the path to correct the issues that I saw required years of research, writing and schooling to earn the credentials to even enter the space of education. I created strategies to remove these barriers for stay at home moms, educators and everyone else. I'm motivated by the change that this audacious vision will have on my community.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Beyond money, is the validation of the sacrifices my family have endured to save our community. $25,000 would be invested to move my app from proof of concept, to a fully functioning browser that will compete with Google and other search engines. It is a map with options for research already visible. Whereas google requires a user to know what they are looking for, the app displays a full map of Black History and the "360" means we can also find hotels, events, professionals etc. today
