I’m proud to be the owner of Sweet & Sassie Bake Shop, a dream that came to life during a time when the world needed a little extra sweetness. Baking has always been a passion, but it wasn’t until the long days of quarantine that I realized it could be something more. With the love and encouragement of those around me, I launched Sweet & Sassie in July 2020, right from my home. This business started as my way of bringing joy when people needed it most.

The heart of Sweet & Sassie Bake Shop is the incredible community I’m honoured to serve. From seeing the joy on kids' faces when they pick up custom birthday cakes to hearing how my treats add sweetness to life’s moments, these connections keep me motivated. My customers aren’t just orders, they’re friends, neighbour's, and loyal supporters. Their smiles, stories, and belief in my vision inspire me to keep growing and creating every day.

If awarded $25,000, I’d invest in branded packaging to elevate my bake shop’s presentation, upgrade essential equipment for efficiency and quality, and take the next step in expanding my business, possibly exploring options for a physical location. I’d also give back to my community through events or donations. This investment would not only enhance my business but allow me to continue supporting those who have been part of my journey.
