Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my ancestors, especially my grandfather, Guyler Shankle, whose land I’m transforming into Franklin Vines Winery. Their resilience and vision fuel my passion to preserve our heritage while creating opportunities for others. I’m also inspired by women of color breaking barriers in agriculture and winemaking, who motivate me to provide scholarships and mentorship. With $25,000, I’d prepare the land for Franklin Vines Winery, building a vineyard that preserves my family’s legacy and uplifts Shankleville.
