Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the desire to transform spaces and improve lives through design. I’m motivated by the impact a well-designed environment can have on someone's well-being and success. Additionally, I draw inspiration from other entrepreneurial women who have broken barriers and built thriving businesses from the ground up. Their resilience, creativity, and drive push me to continually innovate and grow SKL Designs.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated as an entrepreneur comes from setting clear goals, celebrating small wins, and staying inspired. I break down big goals into manageable tasks, which keeps me focused and helps track progress. Surrounding myself with mentors and peers fuels my passion, while staying up to date on design trends keeps me engaged. Reflecting on how my work positively impacts others drives me forward. Balancing work with self-care prevents burnout and helps me stay energized and creative.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded the $25,000 prize, I would invest it back into SKL Designs to fuel growth and innovation. A portion would go toward expanding my team, allowing me to take on more projects and better serve my clients. I would also invest in marketing and branding to increase visibility and attract new business. Additionally, I’d allocate funds toward continuing education, attending design workshops, and upgrading my design tools and software to stay ahead of industry trends.
