Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The patient’s in my community. During the pandemic they became disheartened with the level of care they received. I observed first hand, lack of assessments, care and patient education. I was determined to make a difference and let my voice be heard for the advocacy of our aging population. I now lead the charge as a Regional Director of Clinical Services and role out clinical services in skilled nursing facilities that help prevent disease exacerbation and acute care hospitalization.

How do you stay motivated?

Knowing that each day we age, we could only hope to age gracefully. But ultimately, I would want to have healthcare that focused on quality measures, patient satisfaction and prevention. My passion for helping others motivates me and makes me better, even during rough days. I’ve successfully contracted with a number of healthcare agencies since the initiation of Impact Health and Quality, using evidenced based practice to raise the level of care and encourage my fellow healthcare workers.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the money to expand Impact Health and Quality on a national scale. Traveling to educate healthcare staff, improve their quality measures and motivate them to maintain excellence in clinical standards.
