Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the young women whose lives I've had the privilege of serving and transforming through my non profit Gyrl Wonder. Witnessing their growth, confidence, and success fuels my passion and keeps me driven. They remind me daily of the importance of creating opportunities, fostering belief in their potential, and ensuring they know they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving greatness. They are the heartbeat of my mission, and their growth keeps me motivated to do more.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation for me is rooted in three pillars: ​1. Community: Knowing that my work is making a tangible difference in the lives of young women of color gives me a sense of fulfillment and drive. ​ 2. My Faith: I believe that Gyrl Wonder is my purpose. My faith sustains me and reminds me that this work is bigger than myself—it’s about creating lasting impact. 3. Desire for Impact: Im committed to creating a legacy of change. The vision of what GW can achieve drives me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use this grant to amplify the work that we are doing at Gyrl Wonder via: 1. Website Modernization: Revamping our site to reflect our 10 years of impact and serve as a hub for our community. 2. Team Capacity Building: Investing in professional development to strengthen our team and sustain our growth. 3. Program Expansion: Reviving our Paid Fellowship Program and enhancing our Summer Leadership Camp to ensure that it continues to provide transformative experiences.
