Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration in business comes from the opportunities I’ve had and the drive to make the most of them. I’ve been deeply motivated by my parents, especially during my teenage years. They instilled in me a work ethic and determination that has kept me focused on achieving big things ever since. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the various ventures I’m involved in. Managing multiple music artists, running comedy shows across different venues, The Extra and more.

How do you stay motivated?

I’ve always been driven by my passion for sports and entertainment, which led me to start my first business, Pro Sports Extra. Over time, I expanded into opening a comedy and music venue in my small town, bringing in talent from all over. Managing artists. Doing shows at other venues. With so much going on, it’s easy to stay motivated. Growing up in the small, resilient Upper Peninsula of Michigan also plays a huge role—it taught me the grit and determination!

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would go straight into enhancing The Extra, allowing us to bring in higher-quality talent, cover rent without stress, and upgrade our seating for a better experience. This investment would resolve many of the challenges we’re facing and would have a significant positive impact on both my business and the local community.
