Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My own experience in addiction and now recovery has inspired me, as well as time working just recently for Dan Martell. "We are most qualified to help those we used to be like"- so I want to provide supportive work environments for people in recovery so they can achieve long term success. The company is called "Next Level" and our slogan is "Building Recovery" - where we take people and projects to the Next Level.

How do you stay motivated?

By staying disciplined with my morning routine, starting the day with gratitude, prayer, affirmations, exercise. I focus on surrounding myself with people I want to be like. Most importantly, motivation come from seeing transformation in others, being apart of families reunited, clients smiling with gratitude, and being a light to other trades in the community. My effort is a reflection of my gratitude, and when you surround yourself with the right people it's a lot easier to stay motivated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded this opportunity, I would focus on expanding our team and enhancing our impact within the community. One key initiative would be sponsoring a bed at Freedom’s Door, a recovery center in Kelowna where both myself and several team members have successfully graduated. The remaining funds would be dedicated to supporting an overseas project for our crew, furthering our collective mission and outreach.
