Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the LORD. After my last deployment, I didn't want anything more to do with medicine because of the loss of life I saw in my unit. I prayed upon retirement for direction and purpose in my life. The LORD answered, "Share your knowledge and build community". My heart to help people and my desire to serve the LORD in my purpose are my greatest sources of inspiration.

How do you stay motivated?

I often say, "It's a good thing I have discipline because, with discipline, motivation doesn't matter." Twenty-three years of military service has helped me develop a level of discipline that is seldomly matched. When I identify my motivation, it is usually one of two things that it stems from: the results we see our clients obtain and the happiness it brings them to meet and exceed their own expectations of themselves and obedience to GOD's will.

What would you do with the $25,000?

In the fitness industry, equipment is one of the most costly expenses. The money from the contest will be used to purchase new equipment and service our current equipment. We are also trying to build a program focusing on overweight Veterans. We would also buy subscription-based equipment and programs to facilitate healthy weight loss for these individuals.
