Who or what is your inspiration in business?

When you come from Flint, it's either a resilience that's built or you drown in your environment. God gave me a opportunity and I took advantage of it. When I was in 10th grade, my counselor directed me to this place called the Genesee Area skills center (GASC) where I learned about small business management and entrepreneurship. Immediately I feel in love with the reality of becoming my own boss one day build a uccessful company & making others around me successful as well.

How do you stay motivated?

How I stay motivated is by the 4 ladies who depend on me everyday. My daughters are my world and being just productive human being overall. Mentoring the young life to grab hold of there dreams and aspirations. I believe leadership carries a weighty responsibility and I am built for it. To serve is my life line and therapy for me, so it's a honor to do so. Knowing that I can help make another person's life go to the next level is motivation everyday for me. The reward is seeing it happen!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it back into my businesses to help further others advance themselves and their familes. Also sow a big portion of it back to the youth in the community. Give out small scholarships for small business start-ups and also book scholarships for students who may need books or other things for college.
