Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I love that this question asks who or what inspires my business because if I had to say who there would be a lot of who’s. What they all have in common is that they succeeded. That is my inspiration. I want to be proof that no matter the circumstance success is possible and even inevitable if you believe. My business will show that with consistency, dedication, discipline and faith you can succeed and create a life with more wins than losses.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by reminding myself about that word that is also a letter, the why. Your why keeps you disciplined and moving forward. My emotions fluctuate because I am human but my why keeps me going. I also do not want to look back later in life wishing I had taken certain risks. Because of that I remind myself to take the risk now rather than lose the chance.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am currently a cosmetology student and will be a licensed cosmetologist by summer 2026. I would use $25,000 to set my business up through the correct channels by creating a business bank account, putting myself on payroll, buying quality tools and products, and investing in continued education like hair extension courses. Extensions allow higher ticket services, often around $1K per client. This would help my business grow and eventually allow me to invest in creating my own booking platform.
