Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is my background. Growing up, I watched my family work incredibly hard with limited resources and no safety net. That taught me that necessity drives innovation. Entrepreneurs like Daymond John also showed me that you don’t need to come from money to build something meaningful, you need grit, creativity, and the ability to see opportunity where others see obstacles. Swipr exists because I looked at a broken, cash-heavy home services industry and decided to fix it.

How do you stay motivated?

The problem stays unsolved - that’s enough. Every day I know there are homeowners getting ripped off and skilled workers losing income because no real platform exists for them. I can’t ignore that. I balance school, the gym, and building Swipr daily not because it’s easy but because I’ve seen the gap and I can’t unsee it. Motivation isn’t something I chase. The work pulls me forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Launch. The product is built, the problem is real, the market is ready. This capital gets Swipr on the App Store and Google Play, puts us in front of our first 100 users in Toronto, North York, Scarborough, York Region, Mississauga and Brampton, and covers incorporation and legal. We’re not figuring out what to build, we’re ready to move. This funding compresses months into weeks and gets us to proof fast.
