Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the mission behind Appius Communications to support and connect the everyday people working in mission-driven organizations to make their communities a better place to live. Local public servants are essential but often unseen They deserve more support and recognition for their critical work during a time when there is more division, conflict, and pressure than ever before.

How do you stay motivated?

I surround myself with amazing people who inspire me to push forward - even in the face of all the potential sources of discouragement that exist today. I am gain energy and motivation by being someone who lifts up those around me, even if it is small, hardly noticeable ways. Finally, I am a big believer in small wins. My company works with small, organizations in local, often rural communities. For us, it is important to celebrate these all the ways these amazing groups do great works.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would reinvest the money in my company as we are on a shoestring operational budget.
