Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I love the way that technology continues to evolve and get better. New technology always opens doors to new ways of doing things. In business, there are a lot of opportunities to embrace the capabilities of new technology, usually just waiting for the right team to build them.

How do you stay motivated?

I've always had the ability to be energetic, and I see every reason to put that to good use. I like to dream about a better future, and this helps on the motivation side, but when it comes down to execution the law of detachment is what I find most helpful. Focus on process; results follow. I get most of my motivation from the anticipated reward—for me, I like golf and good food.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Straight into the company account. I need to build a webpage with a complete back end that handles the various automatable aspects of my business. I'm not trained as a developer, but I have some basic understanding of code, so I would use the money to consult with a developer on how to build and launch a live version of the site. Armed with the information I receive, as well as AI, I would aim to finish the build myself. Once the site is live, I could raise funds for licensing/hiring.
