Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from a simple belief: no one who has ever lived is exactly like you, and no one ever will be again. That means each of us is here to share something unique with the world. Too many people follow paths that were never really theirs. I want to live differently, building around the gifts God gave me in sports and creativity. EZCones is my way of sharing that gift.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation starts with my faith in God and the purpose I believe He placed on my life. I feel called to build in sports. What drives me is knowing I found the thing that made my heart sing as a kid creating, playing, and being surrounded by sports. Now I get to build a life around it. That same passion led to EZCones and keeps me moving when things get hard. God gave me the vision. My responsibility is to show up every day and do the work.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would go to three places. First, lowering our cost of goods so we can extend special pricing to youth programs and school athletic departments. Second, targeted marketing so coaches who need this tool can find it. Third, expanding our 3D printing so we can bring production in-house, reduce costs, and have more control over what we build next. Every dollar has a job, including making sure programs have better training tools.
