Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is the opportunity to create lasting impact. I am inspired by children, families, and the educators who shape young lives every day. I am also inspired by visionary builders who create businesses that solve real problems in their communities. For me, business is not just about profit—it is about building something meaningful, sustainable, and transformative for the families we serve.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping my mission in front of me. Every day, I remember that the work I do helps children access safe, nurturing, high-quality early learning experiences during their most important developmental years. I am also motivated by progress—seeing a child thrive, a family feel supported, or a center grow stronger reminds me that the hard work matters and that the vision is worth pursuing.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This funding would allow Afreya’s Playground to reach families who need us most but can’t always access us. I’d invest in outreach to underserved communities, reduce financial barriers to enrollment, and bring our nurturing early learning environment to children who deserve the same opportunities as everyone else.
