Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the families and communities I serve. Seeing children grow, parents succeed, and individuals gain confidence reminds me why this work is so important. I am also inspired by strong women entrepreneurs and community leaders who create businesses that not only generate income but also create impact.My goal has always been to build businesses and programs that serve a greater purpose. I believe entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for community change.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the impact my work has on others. When I see children learning new life skills, families receiving support, or women finding empowerment through our programs, it reinforces that the work matters. I also stay motivated by setting clear goals for growth and reminding myself that building meaningful programs takes consistency, dedication, and patience. My passion for community development and helping others succeed keeps me moving forward even when challenges arise.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, the funds would be used to expand the programs and services offered through Resources With a Purpose Incorporated and Sistahhood Hula. The funding would support program development, educational materials, workshops, and community outreach initiatives. Specifically, the funds would help us create life-skills and empowerment programs for youth and women, provide educational resources and curriculum materials, host community workshops, and support operational costs.
