Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from a deep appreciation and love for the natural world. A passion + degree obtained for interior design and a fascination of graphic design explored at The Academy of Art, combined with a hobby of photographing the world around me, sparked a drive to develop home & personal accessories with my nature photography. I aim to inspire people to explore their own creative expression; transform houses into homes and turn everyday accessories into playful curios.

How do you stay motivated?

The natural world provides continual inspiration ranging from vast color palettes to various & complex visual textures. I stay motivated through prayer, my faith in God, by staying connected to my core vision, celebrating small wins, sticking to a measured routine, & regularly connecting, communicating & celebrating other creatives & entrepreneurs both big & small~understanding that building a successful business is not unlike building a mountain 1 pebble at a time!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in concrete business scaling & marketing strategies to exponentially grow the business, thereby providing employment opportunities for creative entrepreneurial talent to help run the business. I would develop branded packaging & brochures and design and put into production a new capsule collection of inverted umbrellas. I would invest in a fulfillment center or storage facility for my in-house stock.
