Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from both heritage and hardship. I was raised in a Caribbean household where my grandmother taught me natural healing. Battling severe inflammation, bloating, and chronic scalp conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasis as an adult pushed me to take control of my health journey. That journey became my purpose, healing. Pretty & Healthy is a platform rooted in holistic wellness and healing.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated for me is rooted in purpose, and discipline. From early leadership roles, to building Pretty & Healthy, I’ve learned that consistency creates impact. As a Clark Atlanta University alumna, I move with resilience and intention. I stay aligned with my brand by prioritizing balance; investing in integrative wellness like acupuncture, and caring for myself. Even on tough days, I lead with purpose, turning my pain into power to inspire others to live healthier, fuller lives

What would you do with the $25,000?

Pretty & Healthy is more than nutrition it’s about community. With this funding, we will continue to expand by bringing fresh food access, community farming, financial resources, and safe wellness spaces into urban areas. We’ve impacted communities through quarterly givebacks donating 70+ toys to P.S 53 in the Bronx, supported NAACP scholarships, and promoted health equity through local health fairs. This funding will help us expand our impact, and reach more communities.
