Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My faith is the foundation of my inspiration in business. I believe that when God places an idea on my heart, it is my responsibility to pursue it with courage and perseverance. I am inspired by the bold faith of biblical leaders and by entrepreneurs like Jessica Miao, founder of Apricotton, whose words motivate me daily: “The difference between the person living your dream and you is that they tried.”

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by seeking wisdom and discernment through prayer. I also stay connected to entrepreneurial communities that support growth, including OWNR, ELLA for women-led ventures, and the Black Entrepreneurship Alliance. Attending events allows me to network and learn from other founders. Mentorship from leaders like Amoye Henry (Forbes Business Council) and Stachen Frederick (WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada) continues to inspire me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

After founding a successful nonprofit in 2018, I decided in 2025 to launch a for-profit venture. I have already registered the business and developed a pitch deck and website. The $25,000 would help secure a physical location and cover essential startup costs, allowing the business to move from planning to operation and begin generating impact and revenue.
