Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Out of Darkness was born from my own journey through trauma, grief, and recovery. I realized many people carry deep pain with no safe place to process it. I created an interactive healing journal and workbook to help people confront their darkness, reflect on their story, and begin healing. My mission is to help others discover that their pain does not define them and there is still purpose and light ahead.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by making connections and hearing the stories of the clients I serve. Every story reminds me why this work matters and how healing is possible. Seeing people confront their struggles, rediscover hope, and step into purpose fuels my commitment to Out of Darkness, even on the hardest days.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25K, I will expand Out of Darkness to reach more people and establish my 501(c)(3). Funds will go toward printing and distributing healing journals, creating workshops, marketing the program, and developing interactive resources. This investment will help more individuals confront pain, find hope, and step into purpose while building a sustainable nonprofit.
