Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is rooted in a lifelong search for comfort, safety, and connection. Supporting my dear mother-in-law, Rose, through her end-of-life journey revealed the gift of healing touch and led me to this work. Her presence continues to guide how I care—holding space for people to soften, reconnect, and be truly cared for in a world that deeply needs more compassion & connection. 💜

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation ebbs and flows, and I’m learning to meet that with compassion. I’m supported by loyal clients, dear friends, and meaningful therapeutic work. Through life’s challenges, I’ve learned to let go, trust the process, and keep showing up with care. It’s truly an honour to care for people, and that shapes how I hold space—with presence, empathy, and deep respect for each journey. 💜

What would you do with the $25,000?

I dream of creating a mobile, towable rest space—part treatment room, part sanctuary—in gratitude to musicians, because music is my love. An extension of my massage practice, this begins by supporting our local beautiful Cultivate Festival, with hopes to travel. This is just the beginning—offering care, connection, and nervous system support, and growing into a pay-what-you-can, multidisciplinary model. 💜
