Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I grew up in a home with parents who were both artists. I have clung to art and my imagination since I was a little girl. I have always dealt with an inability to integrate socially within society. As a child, my toys, books, and music became my friends. I know there are many children in the world who operate this way, so the brands I am creating and the toy lines I am designing that go with my children’s books are for them to help them feel less alone through creativity and imagination.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated through a deep rooted need and desire to support myself as a single woman through succeeding in my dreams, but more importantly, because I want to make a difference in the lives of children and young girls. I know what it feels like being a child (and adult) that is not able to make friends and has no real support network. I want to be an example of persistence through rebalancing the goals of young girls-encouraging them to succeed in ways that raise the vibration of society.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off some debt so I can free my mind of those worries. I would also put some money towards the printing of my children’s books so I can continue donating them to schools and little girls and boys I meet when I am out in public. I would also like to get the prototypes of my toy designs made so I can start that process of development.
