Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is to find the link that is missing in society and fulfill it. From a young age I wondered why massage was such a normal offering but no one offered back scratching or tracing? Many of us have a nostalgic memory of back tracing with friends or from our moms or loved ones but we can’t receive it anywhere else and when we lose those people we lose our sense of touch. Touch is a primal need and just touch, gentle touch. The loneliness epidemic is as high as it&rsquo

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I’m excited about what I offer - how it heals people and in most cases is the one thing they look forward to. OST in their day when they have a Scratchy Girl session booked. I see it growing exponentially. We’ve only been open a year and a half and we are so busy we need to hire more people and rent out more space.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put it towards: Western National marketing priorities such as trade shows, digital and print ad placements. Marketing of our YouTube channel and instagram. Equipment for our YouTube channel and socials for asmr videos. We need microphones, better cameras and lighting. I also would put it towards better massage tables, better linens, another rental suite and hiring another practitioner so that we can grow here in Kelowna with the resources we need and hopefully one day expand.
